like all computers, this one involves a learning curve when trying to find out what three buttons to push and in what order to do it when one wants to change a setting on it; and that can be a big pain in the butt---- but once you get it, the thing tells time accurately, reminds one of what day it is, and has another time zone for when one travels (which comes in handy if one remembers what button to push, and how many seconds to hold it in order to switch it to that setting). It's attractive, accurate, and very very cheap (which, of course, means it is made in China-> those wanting the Chinese central bank to let the yuan float and who want home grown industries to pop back up on American soil might want to stay away...)

The recipient of this watch (Timex Unisex 1440 Sports Watch) reported to me, the donor, that she is quite pleased with it, once she was able to figure out the relatively complex instructions for using the various(and very useful)functions, especially the illuminated dial and the two time zone features.
I was particularly pleased with the assistance provided to me by Amazon in prompting the vendor ship the watch expeditiously. I consider the transaction to have been a good purchase at a good price.

Pros:
-Nice looking - I like the maroon/silver of this watch
-Nice feel of the band - has a nice fit
-Fairly easy to program w/o instructions if you've owned a sport watch before
-Amazon price
Cons:
-the watch tends to rotate down (and away) on my wrist due to the weight of the watch...which makes me have to adjust it to see it (or turn my wrist funny).
-the indiglo button is on the bottom right. My previous watch (I think it was a triathlon) has the button at the top right. Bottom right just doesn't seem like a natural place to put it.
-the buttons are not the easiest to push.
I'm satisfied with my watch. If I wanted to spend more money - then I would have forked out the $40 for the Triathlon watch. This watch has the basics that wanted for a decent price.
