The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. |

It's all about the band.

I like this watch because of the band. I also dislike this watch because of the band.
The band, as you can see, has many open spaces designed into it. The result is a band that allows your skin to breathe. If you run in areas where it is hot and humid (as I do), this is a plus. There is nothing worse than running along, dripping with sweat, and feeling like you have a neoprene strap around your wrist.
Unfortunately, the band also has a tendency to break. This is the third time I've bought this model of watch. On the first one, the band came off up by the buttons. It was impossible to put back on. I ran with it in my pocket until the battery died.
I bought a second one. After awhile, some water got into the timepiece, and it went nuts on me. Faced with one watch that had a busted strap and one that had a busted timepiece, I decided to take the timepiece from the first and put it into the housing of the second, also using the second one's battery. Thus, I created a new watch that I dubbed "Frankentimex." Unfortunately, about six months after that feat of engineering, Frankentimex's band broke near where it was being buckled. After ripping off the band and running (once again) with it in my pocket, it finally gave up the ghost.
So now I'm on number three.
It's a good watch for running. Buy it cheap, though, because it won't last forever. But what does?

| So Last spring I decided to begin training for a marathon and would therefore need a good watch for pacing. After about a week of searching I decided this watch would best fit me. When I got it I was super excited to try it out, and it worked beautifully. On top of that it hugged my wrist better than any watch I've worn has before. Two major things turned me off to it though. The back light got on my nerves since I have terrible eyesight to begin with and hated struggling to see the time, and after about 5 months, the entire watch went kaput anyways. My opinion, if you're a heavy runner, just bite the bullet and invest in a better watch; if not then go ahead and try this watch out. It's a cool looking watch and from what the reviews say some people have had it for years and it still works fine. Your choice. |

| i am a runner, this is the second watch like this i have owned the first the band tore as i was wearing it while wrestling with my brother, and the band cannot be purchased or reassembled at a store and had to send it back to get a replacement band, but it was under warranty so no worries there...then the band came apart a year or so later and instead of sending it in for maintenance i purchased a new one...its light, does splits, and has large numbers..the band is the only set back..but i may have been to rough with mine...all in all good watch and i do recommend it if you dont want to be weighed down with a bulky watch. |
Good Features - Poor Quality

This watch has some great features, and they all work as they are supposed to... however, I have had significant problems with both the band and the buttons.
The buttons are difficult to press, and sometimes need to be pressed more than once for the watch to take (I think they tried too hard to make it "sleek"). This is especially annoying when you push the lap button, and it doesn't take, so you sit there pushing around the surface of the button until it takes.
Also, the band is cheap. It separates easily from the watch face, and is very difficult to put back on. After the 5th time my band came off, it was pretty much off for good, because the slightest thing will take it off again. I've stopped wearing this watch because the band won't stay attached. |
