I really liked the little TV. Unfortunately, it would not fit in the place I wanted to mount it.

The shipper got the item to me very quickly. I was very pleased with that. The item works okay but it has a flimsiness to it. Since it is all plastic, you have to handle it gently. Also, the picture on LCD screen can be difficult to see from certain angles so you have to tilt the screen in different angles. So, from the sides or these certain angles, the screen will get dark and you may have to adjust the screen depending on where you are standing to watch it. It’s not as good as the undercabinet DVD, TV multi functional unit I had before but it works. I’d give it 2.5 out of 5 stars.

I got this to replace my 4 year old Audiovox 7″ that was not digital.
Very disappointed with the Coby and I didn’t even mount it! The LCD video is extremely dim except for a very small angle viewed directly ahead. I spent a good half hour adjusting it because the colors, contrast and brightness were so bad. Even after adjustment, it was still too difficult to watch except straight ahead. DVDs are almost impossible to watch because DVDs are normally so much darker anyway.
Sound is very good and I can hear it in my den very clearly a good 20 feet away.
A very annoying feature is the big delay when you turn it on and when you change modes and have to go to either DVD or TV. The display “counts down” whenever you turn it on or switch to DVD or TV.
HD reception is decent, even with a cheap antenna. Now, if I could only see the picture!
The remote control is very crowded and unreadable. Rather than just putting the basic buttons on it, they put every possible feature and then some. Unfortunately, you must use the remote for some functions as the buttons aren’t on the system.
One last annoying feature – in order to eject the DVD, you have to switch the Mode to DVD, wait for the countdown, then press eject.
Save your money!

This is a great product! It feels cheap, but folds and does everything. Plus its digital. Great product!

Installation was fairly simple with some measuring to make sure the cords could fit in the back. But once my wife and I started playing DVD’s the problems started.
I did not expect great picture quality but it is almost impossible to see anything in a dark scene, even with the brightness cranked all the way up. Also, our first unit would freeze up and pixelate. It would not allow us to return to the main menu and even when back on the main menu, when you tried to load a chapter the video would freeze again. We returned the first unit and received a second one.
The second unit went in even easier thanks to the measuring and drilling being already completed. However, on this unit the audio did not sync up with the video. If we paused it, the two would match again but would soon get out of sync. We are returning the second unit and not asking for a new one.
Unfortunately, now we do not have a player in the kitchen and there are four holes drilled into the cabinet above the sink.
