Not worth the trouble
As an IT group, I bought 2 of these, but they had re-occurring issues with connecting to Windows XP and Server 2003. Not worth bothering with. Not recommended.

rugged for 10 years
I buy lacie rugged for ten years. they never fail, just run out of capacities. It is a nice collection of indestructible hard drives. The orange color is not that stupid.
