Great external hard drive
This sleek LaCie Hard Disk 1 TB FireWire 400/USB 2.0/eSATA.. works as well as it looks. I use it as an automatic back up on my MAC Leopard system.

Failed within first 2 weeks
This drive failed within the first two weeks of use. It now beeps constantly and will not boot. An unreliable backup drive is NOT useful.

Spacious Time Machine vault for Mac OSX
I had a 500MB external drive that started having problems with Time Machine – it would get errors (full!) and the backups would fail. Not much of a backup solution.
