this product is made very well, the only downside i see is i payed the extra 30 dollars for this hard drive compared to other 1 terrabyte drives so i could use the eSata port…

Spacious Time Machine vault for Mac OSX
I had a 500MB external drive that started having problems with Time Machine – it would get errors (full!) and the backups would fail. Not much of a backup solution.

Failed within first 2 weeks
This drive failed within the first two weeks of use. It now beeps constantly and will not boot. An unreliable backup drive is NOT useful.
