Fine product.
This LaCie Hard Drive is available in a firewire version. If possible go for firewire. No problems with this device. Give it a A+.

Lacie won’t replace new DOA unit, repair only.
Bought three of these Neil Poulton drives at the start of the month, and one was DOA. Contacted Lacie at the start of the month and I am only now (finally) getting an RMA.

Waited awhile to do the review. We’ve had the drive a few months now. I read a lot of horror stories about drives not working from the start.

Bad Warranty Service
I purchased 2 Lacie Drives. One worked fine, while the other made loud clicking noises (sign of a bad hard drive near failure).

Delivery to St. Louis from NY was 4 days after order, using Standard, not Expedited, Delivery option. Nice.
