Car adapter
This was a birthday gift. My older son has an older model that is a riggid plastic model. That model is not affected much by bumps and road imperfections.

Amazing FM transmitter
Great unit, I purchased mine used and was in excellent condition. Worked perfectly for my iPod classic, i live in an area that has bad reception for FM transmitters.

Disappointing
I found it awkward and fussy to use and the sound was poor. I tried both the automatic and manual channel selection and never got more than 30 seconds of uninterrupted music.
