ในที่ Apple ก็เปิดตัว MacBook Air ตามคาดในงาน Macworld Expo เมื่อวาน
MacBook Air มีความหนาเพียง 0.16-0.76 นิ้ว หนักเพียง 3 pounds จอภาพขนาด 13.3 นิ้วแบบ widescreen LED backlit,Full-size keyboard เรืองแสงได้ trackpad แบบ multi-touch gestures สามารถใช้ลูกเล่นได้แบบเดียวกับ iPhone ใช้ CPU Intel Core 2 Duo แบบพิเศษที่มีขนาดเล็กกว่าปกติ ความเร็วเริ่มต้น 1.6 GHz มี Ram มาให้ 2 GB
การออกแบบเรียบง่ายไม่มีสาย และช่องต่อรุงรัง เชื่อมต่อภายนอกแบบไร้สาย 802.11n2 และ Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR ไม่มีช่องใส่ Optical Drive แต่มีฟังก์ชั่นสุดเจ๋ง Remote Disc ที่ทำให้ใช้ Drive ของเครื่องอื่นในเครือข่ายเสมือนเป็น Drive ของตัวเองได้ (ทั้ง Mac และ PC) มีช่องต่อหูฟัง , USB 2.0 และ Micro-DVI อย่างละ 1 ช่อง Battery ใช้ได้ถึง 5 ชั่วโมง
