I got my Droid and quickly wanted to get a case on it to protect it from, well, me. I ordered this case and it got here kind-of quickly (ten days after order) but when it got here the case was useless. The top portion that should help protect the touch screen will not even stay on the phone, much less protect it. Also, while my colors did match, one little touch on the doorway and the color started coming off the case itself. I will be trashing this case and going to my verizon store to get one that I can try out first.
Trust me when I say, don't waste your money with this and get one from the store.

I was so excited when I was able to upgrade early to the Motorola Droid that I immediately went online to buy new accessories for it. Knowing that these kinds of phones are pretty fragile, I knew I would have to buy a case to protect it from scratches and to prevent the battery cover from falling off (which is what I've heard happens, but I haven't experienced it with the Droid).
I ordered this hard cover and while it did ship and arrive within only a few days, the case itself was not worth the money. The things wrong with the case were:
(1) case did not stay on the top of the phone where the touch screen is
(2) the color on the top and bottom of the case for the two parts did not match
(3) some parts of the phone were covered with the case and not accessible once the cover was on
I went straight to the Verizon store and bought an "official" case for $16.99 + tax which worked out to a little more than buying this and shipping, but that case fits perfectly, the color on both parts match, and all the ports/buttons on the phone are fully accessible.
