This Bakugan holder looks really cool, but beyond that it's a waste of space. Don't get me wrong, there's a possibility it was only with the one I purchased however the top of the sphere will NEVER go back on. My son still uses the bottom half to hold a few Bakugans and some cards, but even he agreed it would of been a better idea to get a regular case that actually closed (and held more).
There didn't appear to be any defect with the product that would cause the top to be to small fitting all of a sudden. When he opened it he didn't do anything wrong or unusual either, so I honestly don't know why the top no longer secures to the bottom.
BakuSphere actually can bew put back together

I see that a lot of folks have written with respect to this and other colors of the same product that the bottom tray will not re-insert into the bottom half of the sphere when it is (as it inevitably will be) removed. I was sad to see that one person actually destroyed the sphere by using so much force that they crumpled the bottom half (I think it was a blue one). I'm glad I didn't let my husband try to solve this problem, as that is probably what would have ended up happening.

Folks, the bottom tray easily reinserts if - instead of trying to jam it down with its perimeter lined up with the perimeter of the bottom of the sphere, you instead tilt it at perhaps a 45 degree angle or so and gently press it down and then rotate is so that the two perimeters are lined up. Voila! Please try it.
Good concept, but that's about it...

Like a previous review stated, once the inside piece is removed it is impossible to put back in. This toy didn't even last a day...
Won't close!

Once you take out the bottom plastic insert, it won't go back in all the way. This makes it impossible to put the lid back on correctly.
Very difficult to use.

It's a great idea - a case to hold your child's Baukgans. However, it doesn't work well. It's very difficult to get the sphere to close properly - my wife and I both tried for 15 minutes and couldn't get it to close properly, effectively making it worthless. Even if it could be closed correctly it only holds the round Bakugan toys which is another point of frustration as my son has the triangular and square shaped Bakugans as well. Recommend passing on this as it went from the Christmas tree to the garbage can in 2 hours.
