You can buy these for 2 for a dollar shipped on the major auction web sites. The type with the soft round tip are a lot easier to use than the type with the hard flat tip. It works sometimes on my Motorola Droid. It works fine for pressing buttons, including long presses. It doesn't work at all for dragging or drawing or scrolling.
If your hand-eye coordination isn't so great or you have fat fingers, this thing can improve your typing accuracy. It may also help if you're browsing a web page that has lots of tiny links. For most tasks, just touching the touch screen is going to be much easier than trying to remember where you put your stylus.
NOT a useful product for Droid
Review Date: March 17, 2010
Reviewer: T. Spencer,
I got one of these as part of an accessory kit hoping it would be something that would keep the screen from getting so smudged from fingerprints, but it's useless. I see that some people have no problem using it in "tap" mode, but for me it doesn't even work for that. It's way too soft and "sticky" on the screen to swipe. It didn't even work when I had a screen protector on the phone.

I hate the smudges and finger prints on my new Droid but this product does not work well at all.
Round tip ineffective for Droid
Review Date: February 17, 2010
Reviewer: DaBeat,
Do not buy this product! It does work, but only for selecting items and even then, you have to push down quite a bit. The rubberized round tip doesn't allow for scrolling or flicking. If the tip was a point instead of round, it may have worked. I have a screen protector on my Droid and like the other reviewers, it stuck. My boyfriend tried it on his Storm and it didn't work either, except to select.
