Good concept, thin material

I purchased 2 of these less than 2 months ago. One for myself and one for my girlfriend. Hers is holding up just fine and I believe that she is very happy with it. I am not as happy. On the side of the holster there is an open spot that looks like it is intended for a charger or sync cable to plug into the phone. Of course there is no use for this hole in the holster since the charger port is on the opposite side of the phone. Due to the hole in the side the plastic is thinner there and mine has already cracked. Overall it isn't a bad holster, I just don't understand why Motorola would weaken the integrity of the product by building it that way.

My Droid will not stay in the holster...this design sucks. There is nothing to hold the phone in and I am always worried that it is going to slide out.

I love this holster. It protects the phone and it's easy to retreave the phone from your hip.
Good holster but watch out for your battery cover

I've been using this holster for a few weeks and generally like it. The rubberized finish is nice, the spring clip seems reasonably solid, and overall the holster seems well made and attractive. However, Droid users should be advised that the Droid has a design flaw that causes the battery cover - basically the back plate of the phone - to easily slip off. (You can google "droid battery cover" for more info or a replacement.) Since this holster exposes that back surface, if you are wearing this holster there is a fair chance that the Droid's battery cover will slip off unnoticed when it rubs against the arm of a chair. I am concerned enough about it that I am debating whether to continue using the holster. Sorry to report this, since the holster itself seems fine to me.

I've been using this holster for almost four weeks and I have been happy with it so far. The Droid's fit is good and tight. The swivel works well. It works as advertised. Definitely no complaints.
